Heden is the heart of Gothia Cup. Here you will find the Central Information building, the tournament’s headquarters during the week. Heden Center in the heart of Göteborg is centraly located within walking distance from Nya Ullevi (opening ceremony arena) and the main boulevard Avenyn.
Despite of the fact that Heden is located right in the Göteborg city centre, this area accommodates 6 artificial grass fields (four 11-a-side and two 7-a-side). On two of these fields we have built up grandstands for the spectators to enjoy the games. These seven fields make Heden Gothia Cup’s third largest game centre.
If you're hungry you can buy some good food at various food trucks at the big food court and if you're in a shopping mode you'll find the big sales tent at the area where you can buy sportswear and merchandise.
During the week you can also meet Bravida, SEB and Marshall.
Heden is a storied place in the Swedish football. It was namely here that the first football game in Swedish territory was played. The year was 1892 and the match was between Örgryte IS and IS lyckans Soldater.
Here you also find the Gothia Heden Center, a large event and exhibition area where our partners arrange fun activities and contests. You will also find souvenirs, food court, and more!
Strategically and perfectly located with panorama view over the playing fields you can find the Leader’s Lounge. Team leaders and coaches meet colleagues from all over the world and discuss tactics. Coffee is for free and if you want something else to drink you can purchase it at the bar. It is here where you pick up your coach t-shirt included in your Leader’s Plus Card.
SKF Arena is the main pitch during the tournament. With a capacity for nearly 8,000 spectators, it is the perfect place to be for anyone who wants to see high-quality international football during the weeks.
