Gothia PUMA Trophy presents the Swedish clubs in this year’s B17

Gothia PUMA Trophy, B17, is an invitational tournament, where some of the most talented 17 year olds from all over the world compete about the prestigeous trophy. It’s a collaboration between Gothia Cup and Swedish Elite Football, played by twelve Swedish teams and twelve foreign teams.

The Swedish teams in Gothia PUMA Trophy, B17, are appointed by Swedish Elite Football based on the clubs’ academies certification but also on the results in Allsvenskan and Superettan 2018. This year’s teams are:

* IF Elfsborg

* IF Brommapojkarna

* BK Häcken

* IFK Göteborg


* IFK Norrköping

* Östersunds FK

* GIF Sundsvall

* Örebro SK

* Kalmar FF

* IK Sirius

* Trelleborgs FF

The foreign teams will be presented in the spring. The tournament is played for the eleventh year and reigning champion is Right to Dream from Ghana, who defeated IFK Göteborg, 2–0, in the final at Gamla Ullevi last summer.

2018: Right to Dream, Ghana.

2017: Right to Dream, Ghana.

2016: IF Elfsborg, Sweden.

2015: Right to Dream, Ghana.

2014: Right to Dream, Ghana (after penalties against Swedish side Mjällby).

2013: Everton FC, England.

2012: Santos Laguna, Mexico.

2011: GAIS, Sweden.

2010: IF Elfsborg, Sweden.

2009: Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, England.
