Nacka FC qualified after a dream start

It Thursday which means play off fever at Heden! The players really need to bring their a-game from now on. Nacka FC girls 13 manage to do that in an excellent way.

The Swedish team from Stockholm won their group and were up against Marin FC 1 from USA in round of 16. And the game had barely start before Michelle Renaldo scored 1–0 for Nacka FC.

It was a tight first half. Nacka FC had most of the possession but didn’t manage to create a lot of scoring chances, except for one shot in the cross bar. But their defenders had good control over Marin FC, who barely had a shot on goal.

– I think we did a great game and had a lot of moment on the field, says Vendela Saving player in Nacka FC.

Marin FC started the second half best. They manage to put pressure on Nacka FCs defenders and created some good scoring chances. But the goal never came.

Nacka FC increased their lead instead. Vendela scored 2–0 after a great attack all the way from the defenders. There was never a big excitement and Nacka FC scored 3–0 through Kornelia Starzcynska before the game ended.

– I think we were the better team and had the most possession, says Vendela.

You can enjoy exciting play off games the whole day at Heden and the other fields. Nacka FC plays their quarter finals later today and Vendela hope for one more win.

– It’s going to be a tough game and we really need to fight for it. But I hope we win and manage to go all the way to the big final, says Vendela.
