We came, we saw, we conquered!
Now the finals for the Kim Källström Trophy have been finalized. It was a least exciting ending, especially when a finale was decided on penalties.
For four days, 16 nations have competed against each other in the KKT. Today the tournament was settled, first with the B-playoff on third prize followed by A-playoff. There were six final matches in both playoffs, that was played at Heden at lunchtime on Thursday.
Special Olympics Hong Kong (see photo) won after a dramatic penalty-shoot. The celebration grew heavily on the plan, as Hong Kong is a new nation for this year in the KKT. After the match, the team took their suitcases and went straight to the airport. Thank you Hong Kong and thank you all the other teams for a fantastic week!
This is how the KKT finals finished:
Final A: Special Olympics Uzbekistan – SO Lithuania 0-1
Final B: Idrottsklubben Carlstad – Parasport Denmark 0-1
Final C: FIFH Red – Special Olympics Hong Kong 5-6 (penalties)
Final D: IF Pluss Köping – Lundh HIF 1-3
Final E: Special Olympics Indonesia – Special Olympics Nippon Nagano 2-1
Final F: Special Olympics Poland – FIFH White 4-0
