Royal shine on Kviberg

On Wednesday morning, Princess Sofia was on one of Gothia Cup’s plans, Kviberg. She greeted a team that she herself was based on, Project Playground FC, which plays in B18, Group 15.

On a glorious sunny day, Princess Sofia joined Gothia Cup and Kviberg. She has been here since Monday and will stay for some day here in Gothenburg.

– But I have to admit that I’m starting to long for Alexander and my old man, Sofia says.

The Princess Sofia told us that it is very fun to be here in Gothenburg and especially during the Gothia Cup.

– It’s a great and fun tournament. It’s not just about winning, but about the community and meeting people across borders. I’ve seen all the Project Playgrounds games and it’s so fun to see everyone play, says Sofia.

The Princess Sofia was in a very good mood and took selfies with the players. She also helped the team organize and push the players and spread joy around together with Frida Vesterberg as she founded Project Playground.

Project Playground is a Swedish nonprofit organization that works to improve children’s and young people’s opportunities through life-based activities, sports and social activities. Project Playground was founded in 2010 by H.K.H Princess Sofia, then Sofia Hellqvist, and Frida Vesterberg two elders who joined the idea of ​​their own organization.
