JULY 15-21, 2018, GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN

IF Brommapojkarna gave it all

It was between IF Brommapojkarna – Antony Sport Fotball about which team would take home the gold in the age class B11. Both teams went hard, but it was Brommapojkarna who showed where the cupboard shall stand.

A final with many goals. As early as 5 minutes in the game, Lucas Bergvall for IF Brommapojkarna made the first goal. It did not take long before 2-0 and 3-0 came, by Viktor Karolak and Oscar Reinholdsson.

BP had really woken up on the right side today. The team was first on the ball, the players challenged the opponents team and were quick to win the ball back when ASF had it.

Antony Sport Fotball fought and had many nice scoring opportunities, but BP’s goalkeeper Leon Blyberg was a wall in the goal. A reduction came after 19 minutes played by Julien Nosel. “Allas les bleus” echoed over Ullevi from the France supporters who were in place.

Before the first half, BP finished by making 4-1 by John Mellberg.

Second half started as the first half ended. Brommapojkarna scored 5 goals within 10 minutes into the second half.

ASF’s goalkeeper and the defense did their best to stop BP, but the Stockholm team’s attack was too hard to stop. At the end of the second half came three quick goals, two for ASF and one goal from BP.

The match finished 11-3 and the most valuable player was number 10 in BP, Lucas Bergvall, who got a nice plaque after the match.

– I’ll never lose this plaque, I’ll have it in my backpack forever, says Lucas Bergvall.
