Boo are the champions of Gothia Cup

Boo IS are the champions of Gothia Cup Girls 12- category. After a huge performance from the team but specially from the striker Michelle Rinaldo, the team from Stockholm could win the impressive result, 9–1.

It was a great start from Boo who scored the first goal after five minutes and it was shot from distance by Vendela Saving. Just a few minutes after the first goal, Boo extended their lead and it was yet again Vendela Saving who was involved. This time with a nice assist to Michelle Rinaldo.

Michelle Rinaldo had a terrific first half and was always a threat to the Brommapojkarnas defense. She extended yet again Boo’s lead by picking up her own rebound from a shot a place it in the empty net.

Boo kept good controlled of the game also scored a fourth goal and we wasn’t even halfway trough the first half.

Brommapojkarna didn’t give up and showed strength by reducing Boos’ lead to 4–1. But, Boo IS had a game changer, and it was Michelle Rinaldo. By scoring her third and forth –  and the team’s fifth and sixth goal, was it nearly an impossible goal advantage for Brommapojkarna to come back from.

6–1 was the half time result.

The second half continued in the saw way – with goals from Boo IS. The seventh and the eight goal came in the second half and even if Brommapojkarna fought well and didn’t give up was it not their day. It was Boo IS and Michelle Rinaldo’s day.

Michelle Rinaldo, som gjorde fem mål i finalen fick ta emot den fina blanketten som hon kysste flera gånger efter slutsignalen.

” It feels really good. I think the whole team played well och did everything they could. It has been really fun to play Gothia Cup, says Michelle Rinaldo, who also got the honor to be awarded the most valuable player.
