Heden Center

In Heden is the heart of Gothia Cup. Here you will find the Central Information building, the tournament’s headquarters during the week. Heden Center is also in the heart of Göteborg and is centraly located within walking distance from Nya Ullevi (opening ceremony arena) and the main parade street Aveny.

The Place

Heden is a tradition in the swedish football. It was namely here that the first football game in swedish territory was played. The year was 1892 and the match was between Örgryte IS and IS lyckans Soldate.

The Fields

Despite of the fact that Heden is located right in the Göteborg city centre, this area accommodates 6 artificial grass fields (four 11-a-side and two 7-a-side). On two of these fields we have build up grandstands for the spectators to enjoy the games. These seven fields make Heden Gothia Cup’s third largest game centre.

The Events

Here you also find the Gothia Heden Center, a large events and exhibition area where our partners arrange fun activities and contests. At the Intersports tent you’ll find the entire Gothia Cup clothes collection as well as other useful equipment. You will also find here activities such as speed shooting, table soccer, kareoke and much more.

Gothia Leaders Sport Bar

Strategically and perfectly located with panorama view over the game fields. As team leader and coach meet colleagues from all over the world and discuss tactics. Free coffee and if you want something else to drink you can purchase it here. It is here where you pick up your coach t-shirt included in your Leader’s Plus Card.
