Another Gothia Cup year has come to and end and we can look back at a wonderful tournament. Deciding which memories are the best is of course something very different for each one of us. For some, is the game where they scored the decisive goal, for others, the friends from abroad they got to chat with. Each experience and memorie is as great as the other and means as much.
Something that gave me shivers was when 46 000 people played the ”human” Guitar Hero. The feeling for rythm and timing you all showed must of been something unique. What an experience!
It also felt great to enter our new finals arena Gamla Ullevi, this place really offers you the feeling of a pro-game. On top of that, the Swedish sports channel Viasat broadcasted the finals the same way they do with Champions League. Well, Gothia is actually the World Youth Cup so you really deserve that.
The most important for us is to arrange a tournament that participants are satisfied with. According to the survey that the teams answered after the tournament, we have succeeded really well. We got the best report for the opening ceremony and the great service the officials give.
