Fun at Club Gothia and Foam Party

Pubished: 2009-07-15 Kl: 16:56
It’s 19.30 and Club Gothia and Foam Party, for the youngsters, and the Leaders Party has already started. A German is standing in the middle of Heden Center and looking a little bit lost.
– Where is the Scandinavium arena? asks Dominic Schultz, assistent coach in Woltersdorf TUS.
tysk11   Dominic is gathering the team that finally is in the meeting place. The guys, who play in the B15 class, have left the match clothes at the school they live at. Tonight everyone has put on their nicest t-shirt and a pat of gel in the hair. Finding Scandinavium is no problem, they just follow the stream of people and the scent of perfume.
- This is going to be fun! It is our first time at Club Gothia, says Maarten Lühr, 14 years old.
The guys are waiting for the traffic lights to turn green. The Party waits for them on the other side. Maarten laughs all the way and there is no doubt about what’s funny.
- The best thing with Club Gothia is… Hm. Girls! Girls, girls, girls and music. tysk21Popmusic of course, says Maarten.
– Maarten always has something funny going on, says Dominic with a deep sigh.
The line to Club Gothia at Svenska Mässan is huge and reaches to the entrances of Scandinavium. Before Dominic and the Woltersdorf players split up Dominic tells the guys to behave well and have fun. Then he continues to the Leaders Party for a night with good food and rock performances. The guys nod rapidly, they are already on their way to the party. In the ceiling giant yellow and blue balloons are hanging. The DJ shouts ”Do we have any ladies here?!” and gets a classic concert scream from every girl. When the DJ shouts “Do we have any guys here” Svenska Mässan gets filled by teenage roars and a few dark voices. New this year is that Gothia Cup offers two discos. Except Gothia Cup there is also the Foam Party.

This is nothing for those who are afraid to get wet. At the Foam Party a waterfall of bubbles are pouring down from the sealing. At the same time some Swedish girls are jumping with the hands in the air to the beat of “Jump”.
- We went directly to the centre of the dance floor and made somersaults and swam in the bubbles, says Moa Fins.

The friends Frida Linden, Tonia Brunnberg, Linn Storesund, (Moa), Cecilia Törnros, Matilda Lehvus are soaked but continue to jump and throw bubbles at each other. The Brasilian guy William Bozatti is moonwalking in front of the DJ: s stage. Some girls are buying water, energy drinks and soda in the beverage lounge. One boy is the tallest on the dancefloor. He´s clowning around with bubbles all over his face and laughs at his new white beard. The party is on!
