First team to arrive

The very first team for the Gothia Cup 2009 has arrived. The team is also one of the most far away teams this year – all the way from Congo we welcome FC Brazzaville. Yes, it is the team from the Gothia Cup Village in Congo that finally are here.
The team is accommodated in the south of Gothenburg and are being taken care of by volonteers from the local Missionary Church. Daily activities includes training and meeting with Swedish youngsters.
The team coach is full of excitement: ”We can hardly wait further longer for our first match. We are so much looking forward to that and now we are only making the last adjustment in preperations”.
He likes what he see and has only positive comments about Gothenburg and the people here: ”This is a once in a lifetime experience for all of us. Yesterday we we invited to the big amusement park Liseberg. I promise, none of us have had that fun ever.”
