Meet the World in the Czech Republic

For the third year SKF sponsored the Meet the World tournament in the Czech Republic.
This year’s tournament took place the 4th of April 2009, in the town of Bílovec south-west of Ostrava.
Following the 2008 season when the players had to brave the bad weather, this year the event was hosted by the Bílovec Elementary School with its fine sports hall. By irony of fate, it was a bright spring day and the sun beamed in through the windows.
The competing teams truly enjoyed the friendly yet competitive atmosphere of the event which was completed without any major injuries. In the final game, ŠSK IR-PROGRES Bílovec and TJ Sokol Pustkovec matched their skills. The game was balanced but ŠSK Bílovec came out on top as they managed to maintain the score advantage gained right in the beginning of the match. The winning team cannot wait to take challenge in the Gothia Cup in Gothenborg, Sweden, in July.
