Meet The World

Meet The World

Meet The World is a project Gothia Cup runs together with SKF. The project, which consists of smaller tournaments around the world aims to create global meeting places for young people regardless of gender, social background, age, culture and religion. The tournaments are played throughout the world and the winning teams get the chance to travel to Gothenburg to represent their country and SKF in the Gothia Cup 2013.

The tournaments will be held in 20 countries in the spring of 2013, including China, Indonesia, Brazil and Russia.

Collaboration

Love the game – share the joy
We love Gothia Cup because it lets young players from all over the world meet and learn about each other. Unfortunately a lot of kids can’t afford to come. That’s why SKF initiated the Meet the world tournaments. Meet the world is a tournament where the winning teams gets to go to Gothia Cup in Gothenburg to play in the greatest youth football tournament in the world with all expenses covered. In 2011 there are 19 tournaments held throughout the world.
