Work in progress at Heden

To arrange the world’s largest youth football tournamnet takes a lot of work and planning. With two days left until kick-off people work at full speed to get all the activities going at Gothia Heden Center.
The tournament hasn’t even started, yet Heden is filled with people. Functionnaries and builders are preparing the area for a smooth week. At the appreciated Gothia Heden Center, with its many activities, Magnus Malmsborg, event coordinator, is working with the last pieces.
- My job is to build up the area and make sure our sponsors get their activities ready and the space needed. I’m also here during the week to check that everything works without any problems.
With many persons involved at one place lots of planning and coordination is needed. Magnus has been working with this for several months and it has been some long days:
- I started with this in march and then the work has intensified during the spring. We started building Heden Center this monday and since then it has been full speed. Today I began at seven and will probably stay here until eleven tonight. It has been like this all week.
- Everything is under control now. It has been some stressful days but now it’s feeling good.
Gothia Heden Center opens at two o’clock tomorrow, and if we trust Magnus it will be at least as good as any other year.
