Samba Soccer Club players slept well on the new mattresses

This year, players and leaders in Gothia Cup get the chance to sleep on new, comfortable mattresses. Samba Soccer Club was one of the first teams to try them. Last week, the B12 team played the Dalacarlia Cup in Borlänge, Sweden, and they arrived in Gothenburg late at night yesterday. Staying at Katrinelundsgymnasiet, they got to try the mattresses.
- They were comfortable, says Annie Jackson, who is one of the two girls in the Samba B12 team.
Coach Devan Anderson agrees.
- I was very happy to see the new beds. The old, metal ones weren’t as nice as these. And the new ones are easy to fold, so you get a lot more space in the room.
The 5000 mattresses were ordered from China.
- It was unique, since we ordered all of them straight from the factory. We needed them, because the old beds squeaked and weren’t very practical, says Roger Anderson, purchaser at Gothia Cup.
Annie Jackson and one of her teammates are pleased to show how they fold and unfold their mattresses.
- Another good thing about them is that they don’t go flat.
