Registration deadline passed

On April 10 was the last day to register for the Gothia World Youth Cup 2012. We can therefore announce that more teams and nations than ever before have registered for the tournament. The exact number of teams who have registered will be posted at a later date. But for you who want to know which nations that have signed up you will find it here on our website.
Interest in the Gothia Cup 2012 has been tremendous. More teams and more nations will make this summer’s football fest greater than ever.
Class Kim Kallstrom Trophy class for players with intellectual disabilities, has grown and will this year include 30 teams from around 14 nations. A fantastic development. You can read more about Kim Kallstrom Trophy here.
In the class Gothia Tipselit Trophy class for invited teams for 17-year-olds, 24-strong teams will play to win the title previously won by the Wolverhampton, Elfsborg and GAIS. Read about Tips Elite Trophy here.
Just as exciting the fact that more foreign teams come to Gothenburg this summer. The majority of the participating teams now come from countries other than Sweden.
The games schedule for the Gothia Cup 2012 will be published on the website no later than mid-june.
